Welcome to UIC, and welcome to our Division! We train students to become well rounded leaders who can contribute to the development of China’s digital economy and society, and to improving quality of life. Students select programmes from among three general categories of traditional learning: language/literature, communication, and sociology/social work. A diverse range of courses combines academic with professional knowledge, offering a powerful combination of international and practical experience. Our graduates are distinguished by their strategic thinking, trans-disciplinarity, influence-orientation, and multi-literate skills. As a crossroads between the humanities and social sciences, with bridges to science, business, and health, our programmes and our Division is well positioned to serve and inspire.
